This little flower-shaped pincushion was inspired by some cotton fabric used for a project bag. I loved the color combination and knew it would work perfectly for a cross stitch design.

Model stitched on 32 count Zweigart Raw linen using 9 DMC threads. Pattern comes with the yellow button. Stitch count: 80 x 80 and the finished size is 5" x 5'.

This sampler is filled with many moon motifs and motifs related to the moon. Moonflowers, strawberries, a mooncake, and rabbits are represented in this sampler. I also wanted to incorporate the theme of change with some of the florals in this pattern.

Stitched on 40 ct. Waterlily by Fiberlicious with DMC floss. The stitch count is 200 x 260 and the finished size is 10" x 13".
As we round out the end of the year and the WordyBirds series, we close with these two beautiful cardinals visiting a sweet snowman. With some pines and poinsettias, spreading Christmas cheer is simple and stitch-worthy!

I have loved the look of this fabric for a long time and was determined to design a pattern that works with the heavy mottling. This pattern is filled with Rainier cherries in brightly colored trees and woodland animals atop quaker-inspired hills.

What's cutter than a fall goose? A goose dressed up as a ghost, of course! This piece features a spooky graveyard scene complete with an abundance of pumpkins and a smattering of quilt square stars in the sky!

Truer works were never spoken, am I right!? I thought this sentiment was perfect for the fall themed collection! You could easily omit the ghosts for a more year round finished piece if you prefer.

Keeping in mind the time of year, I chose fall colors for the flowers in this basket. However, it is a design that lends itself to any season by changing up the flower colors!

While at first glance this may seem like a geometrical abstract design, it is actually something very different: a monogram that features all 26 letters of the alphabet. This pattern was inspired by an actual monogram found in a book from 1881.

This piece is for all of my fellow knitters out there! Again, truer words were never spoken and I've been known to be haunted by a few skeins of yarn that got away! You can omit the ghosts if you'd prefer to have a finished piece that is less seasonal.

This antique sampler immediately caught my eye simply because it was stitched in purple, my favorite color. There is something about a sampler worked in one solid color that I find so beautiful and timeless.

The holiday of Rosh Hashanah occurs in the early fall and it is the new year celebration in the Jewish calendar.
