Don't you love the sound of hippity, hop. I do and I see hopping bunnies around and playing chicks in the spring. With those words, this design came to mind.
Pattern is stitched on 32 count Spanish Moss from Weeks Dye Works using Gentle Arts floss with DMC conversions. Stitch count is 150 x 46. Finished size is 9.38 in wide X 2.88 in high.
"Spring Farmhouse" by Notforgotten Farm was designed by Lori Brechlin. Ah Spring, chickens & chicks, fresh green grass, and flowers ~ of course living in this old farmhouse is my inspiration!
Model stitched on 32 ct. linen using one strand of DMC floss over two threads of linen. Stitch count is 148 x 118. Finished size is 9.25" x 7.38".

The model was stitched over 2 threads on 28 Ct. black evenweave fabric with Classic Colorworks floss. Stitch Count: 98x70 each. Finished size: 7" x 5" each.
Two models were stitched using this pattern. The first model, French Hen, is worked on a Natural linen in Red and Green. The second model, La Poule, was worked on a Pale Yellow Linen in Earth Tones. (floss in box is for La Poule)
