Pattern is stitched on 36 ct linen using Gentle Arts threads. Stitch count is 196 x 196. Finished size is 11" x 11".
The verse on this sampler is from "O Christmas Tree" a German Christmas song written in 1824 by Ernst Anschutz. This song was based off a 16th century Silesian Folksong by Melchior Franck called Ach Tannenbaum. Third in the series of samplers with lots of fun stitches.
