This is the sampler of Lammegien Pot, a girl born in the province of Drenthe in the Netherlands. Drenthe samplers are relatively unknown, so to have one in my personal collection is quite special. The pattern features only full crosses and can be stitched on any counted material. Stitch count is 193 x 137. Finished size on 28 ct is 13.79" x 9.79".

This design uses patterns charted from an antique cushion from Marken, which is in my personal collection. Hearts Entwined was originally dreamed up while planning my own wedding sampler. I have included instructions for modifying the design to be used as a wedding or anniversary sampler.

Pattern is stitched on 36 ct Light Examplar using Gloriana and Needlepoint Silk threads with DMC conversion. Stitch count is 177 x 273.
