Milady's Posies is a beauty, if I do say so myself. The center "posy" is a reproduction of an antique powder compact. The flowers were stitched on silk gauze which decorates the top of the compact.

Stitched on 40 count fabric using DMC threads. Stitch count is 249 x 87. Finished size is 12.45 in wide X 4.35 in high.

This pattern uses a Jelly Roll (or 2 1/2" pieces) to construct the flowers and leaves. They are arranged in a section and then 4 sections are repeated and rotated around the open center.
