Winter Sunshine is a part of a series that has fun with mandala motifs acting as the "sun" in each design. Winter focuses on the whites, blues and grays of the winter season, with the swirls giving a blustery feel, blowing snowflakes through the air.

"Welcome. Friends and family gather here." Stitch Count: 149W x 217. Models were stitched on 28 ct Antique White Jobelan and on 28 ct White Evenweave fringed banner. Stitched using DMC floss, DMC Color Variations, Glissen Gloss and buttons by Stoney Creek (SB060GDM, SB080WGXS,SB455XS, SB481M, SB537DRM).
The model is stitched on 40-count silk gauze. A white or almost white fabric is a good substitute for the silk gauze. The stitch count is 74 x 74 stitches. Several specialty stitches are used, including rice stitch and alternating scotch stitch. The chart is printed in black and white. The finished size is 1.9" square.
