This is the project I am working on. You can see the variations in color that weeks thread gives my stitches. I love it. Love it. No local stores had this. Only place I was able to find is 123 stitch. Thank thank you.

Cross Stitch and quilting

I am still working on the cross Stitch part and then on to sewing, the 6 squares together. I used variegated blue floss and outlined with a dark navy blue. The Star in the middle will be a variegated green and outlined with a sea green. The floss I bought from 123 Stitch is great plus the standard shipping is not bad. Easy to order and lots of supplies available. Great when can't find in the Art stores.

I ordered several shades of brown/copper DMC for T. Kogut's "Moondance." All arrived quickly and what else can you say about thread!? It's DMC's usual good quality.

This is the top half of a biscornu. I purchased the Aida cloth, DMC floss, Etoile, Glissen gloss Rainbow blending thread, Mill Hill beads and needles from 123Stitch. Their site is the best, easy to use. It is easy to order and their shipments arrive very nicely packaged. I love all of their products and it is my happy place to shop on line with them. I look at their daily sales and new products every day. I love the video's JoAnn does for products. I am still learning things after 40 years of stitching!

Love my new pin cushion

This pin cushion is like the tomato I learned to sew with decades ago with the strawberry (always thought this was a pepper) for sharpening needles, but smaller, which is exactly what I wanted. It fits perfectly in my little sewing box of stuff I use a lot. I am sort of surprised by how much I like this new pin cushion given the price. The one they sent was blue and I happened to have just purchased new straight pins with blue heads.

I had never tried a Mill Hill kit and was worried about how fragile it might be to work on it just holding it. This frame works great to hold the perforated paper.

Sweetie, just started House of Peacocks. Will let you know how it goes. So far, so good. The photo is of Long Dog’s The Foley Tree which I really enjoyed doing , but did find some of the black areas a bit difficult 🥴. Made some changes. Love Long Dog. Ann S. In CA🌹❤️🥰

The example shown in the photo is stitched with some hand-dyed threads. The DMC substitutions are adequate, but you might be disappointed in the colors.

Love these stocking kits. Have yet to start this kit. Have made one for each member of family, the last 3 being the grandchildren, another one to go. Everything is included, easy to make, but can take awhile. A lot of fun and easy to leave and come back to.

These were tricky until I figured out each pattern. The colors are similar and when you stand back you see the subtle differences. I was worried that I’d run out of floss and they judged it perfectly.
