These acid-free, 4-ply matboard blanks (also called mat board, mattboard, or mounting board) are made for finishing your stitched piece without the guesswork of cutting your own. Use them as a backing board, stiffener, or insert for flat folds, stand-ups, pinkeeps, pin keeps, ornaments, bookmarks, and other smalls. The rigid board is firm enough to hold a crisp, clean edge for lacing or wrap-and-glue finishing, but thin enough that it adds no bulk under your fabric.
Square blanks work well as frame inserts and flat ornaments, while round blanks are ideal for circle ornaments, hoop inserts, and hoop backing. Not sticky and no adhesive, so you can lace, pin, or glue as you prefer; a non-adhesive alternative to self-stick mounting boards like Pres-On. Suitable for cross stitch, needlepoint, embroidery, hardanger, punch needle, and quilt block finishing. Acid-free board protects your work over time. Pack of two matboard blanks.
