Early in my stitching adventure I may have tossed all my needles into the same container, not knowing the difference. As I thrift crafting materials many stashes aren't labeled. These cards are incredibly helpful for identifying needle type/gauge.

The cards themselves are sturdy cardboard. They come in a very nice plastic carrying case. When measuring the needles on the cards, take it with a grain of salt. Chenille and Sharp needles fall into both categories. It is slightly difficult to see with accuracy the size of the eye when placed on the card. All in all, I believe they will be useful to the needle crafter.

These ID cards were an excellent investment. I'm just expanding my stitching repertoire and had purchased a number of needles. I stored them in some magnetic holders and soon the whole thing looked like chaos - I couldn't tell one needle from another. These ID cards allowed me to sort and tidy up the mess.
