Note from designer: The Rands are inextricably linked to Soed Idea and keep pulling! A while ago I bought three red school patches from one fashion star "Tona Janse" from Hellevoetsluis. 2 squares are dated 1908 and 1909, presumably the third from 1910. It is clear that this is 3 years of manual work education. The squares mainly contain many Randjes (and a few alphabets and number sequences), which increase in difficulty. Some of the edges are familiar and some are completely new. I could combine them relatively easily into one whole "Tona's Randjes" (the coincidence wants my mother-in-law to be called Tona and she was a fanatic embroiderer!)

The pattern stitch count is 201 crosses wide and 550 crosses high. The pattern is completely in one color (originally red but you can of course just take your favorite color) and you will need 12 skeins of DMC if you embroider with 2 threads.
