The deion stated they were perfect for hand or machine embroidery. It did not indicate they were wrinkled flour sacks. Wrinkled ones are not attractive to begin with and certainly doesn't improve even with really pretty hand embroidered designs. Steam ironing improved the looks a little.

Years ago ---- I am 92 years old -- I started using Flour Sack towels In my kitchen.....I still use them These towels are "Right On The Money" -- A delight to use them. I purchased some when a family member 'set up' his first apartment. He likes them too. When the towels get old....they make good clean up cloths, dust cloths and even help with window washing. A "Grand Purchase".
