from United States on 11/07/2025 - Great for hand quilting I hand quilted a throw-sized quilt with this thread and it was great. It didn't knot or twist up, just smooth sailing the whole way, and I use really long pieces of thread too. I liked the color fade too, it was very random so there isn't any predictable pattern visible in my quilt top. There are some long stretches of white but it's overall very interesting to look at. With all of the colors Aurifil has available, and the generous amount on the spool it really is a great choice for hand quilting.
