Traditional Groundcloth is a 26ct 100% cotton fabric that is a modern reproduction of handwoven evenweave fabrics used in Greek folk embroidery. It has a soft hand, which is very satisfying to work with and a lovely texture which lends itself well to folk designs. It is versatile and durable for table mats, table runners, wall hangings, and cushion covers. Great for beginners and experienced stitchers, the threads are very easy to see.
