Purchased the ‘antique white’ of this 36-count fabric because I prefer a muted laid-back white than a stark white. The 36-count will provide a beautiful fine-looking background for my project since the fabric will be showing when the pattern is completed. I don’t like the box squares of the lower fabric counts for backgrounds if I’m able to avoid it. Love the soft feel of the fabric and the drape. I’ve purchased a lot of fabrics from 123Stitch! over the years and still enjoy the quality of their fabrics with the reasonable prices, excellent customer service and timely shipping services! Very nice linen. Cannot go wrong with whatever count or color that's chosen. I have used several different colors and counts in the past.

A standard off white color. It is great when you do not want a white white background. It has a softer look than pure white fabric. Lovely to stitch on. Zweigart fabric is my favorite, it has body but is not stiff and easy to stitch on.

The fabric weave was very even. It was soft and easy to work with. The color is a light cream color. I tried using two strands of floss, but found that I preferred the look with just one strand.

I love Zweigart fabric, to me its the best. I do not like stiff fabric and Zweigart is usually soft enough to make me happy. 123 Stitch always has very fast shipping and have never been disappointed with them. Does anyone know if Zweigart has a 36 count evenweave?

This is the first time I've stitched on linen. This 36 count is large enough to see the holes between threads and to use 2 strands of floss for exceptional coverage. Can't wait to stitch other projects with this count and type of linen.
