from Canada on 02/27/2024 - Beautiful stocking BUT So this has been one of my favourites, but I had to do a lot of creative fixes with it. The white trim piece at the top was about 20% too large. I couldn’t just cut the extra inch off, as the whole thing was printed too large so the scallops didn’t match up. I had to cut out my own piece by eyeballing it.
The green felt in the picture is much more of an olive green. The actual felt it comes with is a brighter kelly green. I didn’t like the look of it as I bought this kit because of the colour scheme. I ended up tracing and recutting ALL the leaves out of the scrap fabric left over from a vintage kit.
Another piece was printed too large and I had to cut my own out form scratch, but I can’t recall which one.
Once it was finished though, it was my favourite to date. Just expect to have to work a few pieces out on your own.
