I bought this as a "water-like" background for a counted cross stitch picture. It is very pretty, but, I found I needed to use 3 threads instead of the usual 2, as only 2 lets the sparkle of the background occasionally show through. The picture is almost done and looks great with a 3 thread cross stitch.
