This canvas is evenly woven, and the color is consistent. I’ll need a good bright light to work on the black, but it is heavily sized, so no hoop is necessary. I have taped te edges, and will attach it to my rectangular frame, though, so I don’t crunch it up by accident. It arrived beautifully rolled in a protective plastic sheath-like box. Delivery was quick and the price is fair. Can’t ask for more!

I had just bought a wooden frame I was anxious to use with a proposed project with the black Aida fabric. I didn't read the deion carefully and didn't realize it has so much sizing and so stuff that you do not need a frame or hoop. This has taken some getting used to, but I ordered five different pieces for five small projects. I am enjoying using it. It is high quality and very stiff but works well. I will purchase this type again.

The fabric itself is nice and stiff, which is how I prefer Aida. It does the ususal amount of unraveling. It irons *beautifully* when spritzed with water beforehand. As per the deion, each piece of Charles Craft Aida came rolled in a thinish hard plastic tube, which is great because you can reuse it to store other Aida in. The price cannot be beat.

The weave of this aida fabric is thin and loose. It's thin enough that it is very soft, and so it is difficult to keep taught while stitching. It's loose enough that between any two given grid holes, there are 3-4 small holes even when not on a hoop or q-snap. This makes it very difficult to stitch evenly on. Between the two issues, it creates issues thread tension as well. I tried to use this for my project, and it has become frustrating enough that I am going to throw it away and start over on higher quality aida. Also upon testing, it does bleed dye when washed in cold water as well. I would not recommend this product.

very nice, first time working with black fabric . little hard to see holes but got a early gift of a light with magnify glass so i can see so much better easy to work with

I'm not a really experienced cross stitcher, and this is my first effort on black aida cloth. I'm having a little trouble finding the holes, but having a white paper on my lap helps and I think the colors are going to really pop!
