Charles Craft Gold Standard is woven from 100% cotton yarn, produced especially for Aida. USA-made Gold Standard is up to 33% heavier than imported fabric, so it can be stitched without a hoop.

Packaged in a clear plastic tube, providing a convenient square shape for easier storage. Plastic tubes keep the fabric free of folds and creases and is great for storing projects and supplies.

This fabric is a perfect mix between soft but not easy to accidentally poke the middle. The color is very subtle off white and not as brown as appears in picture.

This new (or new to me) Charles Craft Aida cloth is terrific. It does not need a hoop and looks pristine after stitching. We are going to use more of it in March for an easy, easy little notebook case to go in your purse. It would also be great for a beginning stitcher.

Universal color that is good for any pattern. Does not have an undertone that could clash with your oroject.

The fabric itself is nice and stiff, which is how I prefer Aida. It does the ususal amount of unraveling. It irons *beautifully* when spritzed with water beforehand. The only negative is that it's YELLOWISH in person and not at all the very light beige it's showing up as being online. For that I'm very very disappointed. As per the deion, each piece of Charles Craft Aida came rolled in a thinish plastic tube, which is great because you can reuse it to store other Aida in.

Love Charles Craft Aida cloth. It is a heavier weigh and almost no wrinkling. Comes in a tube without all the creases

The fabric has tiny, little black specks scattered throughout as though it was next to something soft and" linty". Using it anyway and hopefully pattern will cover 'll of them.

Good quality fabric for my first project. I was just disappointed that it didn't come in a plastic tube like in the item details, and instead arrived folded and creased. Looks like it was taken out of the plastic tube before being shipped because it did come with the box label. I didn't buy the DMC project keeper because I was planning to use the plastic tube to store the project that I'm working on.

I love 123Stitch and will always purchase from them. This is about the fabric...it is the color of nicotine stains. It's awful!
