As I have trouble keeping regular thimbles on my finger, I like the leather ones. This thimble is great, fits well and stays on my finger. The only thing i don't like is that the thread used to sew it together wears out fast and then allows the needle to slip in between the edges. The company should use a tougher thread that won't wear out.

With my arthritis knuckle it is impossible to fit a standard thimble on my finger. This leather thimble is the answer to my problem. I never used a thimble and now that I have started to quilt I need some kind of protection and am well satisfied with Clover's leather thimble.
