I needed a darker shade of red to sew on some dark red rick rack. I didn't know which one would work so I ordered this one and the Dark Red. Glad I did. I thought maybe Barberry would be too much of a berry/wine shade, but it matched my rick rack better than the other. It doesn't have a lot of wine shade in it. Just a good dark red.
