This design features lots of birds and says "Four and Twenty Blackbirds."
Stitched on 40 count Vintage Country Mocha using Classic Colorworks and Gentle Art threads. Stitch Count: 149W x 159H. Finished size is 7.5 x 8 for 40 count fabric.
First is a series of seasonal birds, this is the Summer bird, a pretty little goldfinch surrounded by purple violets and yellow berries. Large print, easy to read black/white symbol chart.
Model stitched on 28 ct Light Mocha Lugana with DMC thread. Stitch Count 70w x 70h. Finished size is 5in wide X 5in high. Designed by Pamela Kellogg
Model stitched over two on 32 Ct. Summer Khaki Belfast linen with Needelpoint Inc, Dinky Dyes, and Silk N Colors silk floss. Stitch Count: 289W x 63H. Design Size: 18" x 4".
Note from the designer: It started with the request to teach at Shepherd's Bush and the theme was garden. My brain went to our love of samplers and flowers. I envisioned alphabets dancing in the garden. There will be one for each season for a total of four different charts.
