Purchased this for a pattern that used it in a snowman's carrot nose. Product photo showed it as a bright orange, but the thread I received was pastel orange so the carrot nose didn't "pop" like it did in the pattern's product photo. Hand-dyed threads vary in color, which is what I love about them, but I wish I had used a brighter orange for my project.
