I tried using floss wax and this did not help. Quite frustrating during a project to stop and deal with this. Anxious to try Weeks next.

from United States on 04/27/2014 - disappointed I was stitching a piece that required this color floss exclusively for the entire design, and was excited to get started on it. However, when the floss arrived, it was a solid color and did not have any streaks of shading in it. I then asked for them to hand pick one that may have come closer to what I was looking for in a "hand dyed" floss maybe I just got one that wasn't very well streaked since they are hand-dyed. That skein also came to me pretty much the same. So I'm returning both of them and using another kind more to my liking. It wouldn't be that big a deal, except for the design using solely one color, so it should have more shade variations over all. I do like this brand in their cotton flosses though.
