Trying my second time using silk floss. Previous use was a small kit I stitched with so-so results. I wanted to do a "black" work celtic knot piece using silk. I'm Using 32 count Jobelan evenweave fabric. I have to say this type project in much better on 32 count jobelan than the 28 count. This silk floss is a beautiful color on antique white. This silk is easy to work with in 12" to 14" lengths. The definition is crisp and it doesn't fray like the silk provided in a kit I'd previously stitched. I even have made corrections in my stitching and can very carefully remove mistakes without degrading this silk. I encourage anyone to try this type floss. The luster it has is gorgeous. Glad I decided to give silk another try.

The color of this silk is a perfect deep red. The best part is that it feels wonderful. Lovely to stitch with. I very much enjoy Classic Colorworks Belle Soie spun silks.

I had never stitched with any silks but I love the colors of the classic colorworks cotton so I picked a pattern that had 3 colors and bought them in the silks. The Belle Soie Silks were a dream to work with, they have such rich beautiful colors and are so easy to stitch.
