This is a RE-RELEASE in conjunction with the other four NEW Specimen Book Samplers! Ellen Kingscote English Specimen Pages Two Cross Stitch Samplers, Wisdom and Honour, circa 1840 Antique Sampler Reproductions

Two simple and beginner style cross stitch samplers are found in Ellen Kingscotefs English sewing and needlework lesson book dating to the 1840s along with samples of her sewing, darning, buttonhole, knitting and embroidery work. The samples are mounted with sewing thread on fine tissue paper on a double pink page with a single blue insert page.

Pattern is stitched on line with DMC floss. The stitch counts and finished sizes are;
Wisdom: 83 x 123 Honor: 89 x 115
