DMC is a wonderful cotton thread. It is a no bleed thread if you wash your piece after you have finished stitching it! Few threads can make this claim. I use DMC a lot and always soak my embroidery after my project is complete. DMC is a all around good thread for Cross Stitch, Needlepoint, surface embroidery. and all others types of stitching. I have even used it on a seam of a blouse I wear that had a hole........the numbers of colors allow one to find a good match! Having trouble finding a color, try DMC. Truly an amazing thread!

I was relieved to find this color when I did- I needed very precisely an almost-black green. Lives up to the same quality of other DMC thread, and actually got to me faster then the thread ordered direct from manufacturer!
