from United States on 02/01/2019 - Fraying Thread Very disappointed with this kit. Not sure what type of thread was included, but it was not the usual DMC variety. When I started sewing the thread frayed after a few stitches, breaking continually. I tried several colors and this was a common problem. I ended up buying all new thread. I like the pattern but that is all.

It is the first time I've chosen this designer and it is the most ambitious project I've ever tried, but I must Say I'm really enjoying it. It is beautiful and I'll write more as I start to complete it. Thank you very much.

from United States on 11/03/2013 - Holly Angel Christmas Stocking I love this angel design. But I found 3 things that didn't make this kit as ideal as I hoped it would be. First, I wasn't comfortable with the size of the fabric. I was glad I used fray-check because I was afraid there wouldn't be enough Aida to fit the entire pattern. I wish it had been larger. Secondly, I am used to using DMC thread and some of the thread in this kit was not the quality of DMC. And lastly, the fabric stocking back had a Christmas pattern, but it did not go with the angel design at all. The colors weren't very pretty and the design did not go with the stocking colors or design.
Kit includes Mill Hill Glass Beads, Mill Hill Perforated Paper, floss, needles, and instructions. Finished size 2.25" x 4".
