People rave about it, but honestly, I’m on the fence. I’ve been stitching for over 55 years and never tried any type of thread conditioning, but I will continue to use it. It does give the thread a smooth, unfreyed feeling.

Anyway, the wax comes in a holder with slots, and you just pull the strand through a slot. The holder does open so you can replace the wax.

Just keep it in plastic bag when not in use. Will last you a long time. They also have this product without the containers keeping with environment friendly.

from United States on 07/01/2015 - Excellent I tried thread heaven a few years ago and it just didn't do it for me. This is wonderful! I use it for my cross-stitch threads. I have used it on DMC as well as Madeira wool floss and it works great! Easy to zip your floss through the grooves in the holder and you're ready to start stitching. For me it makes the twisting of the thread significantly less and I feel that my stitches anchor themselves better as well. I think I will always use beeswax for my stitching from now on. It's also very reasonably priced!
