I guess if you truly don't want to see thread when stitching beads on a cross stitch project, you can use this, but I found it quite cumbersome to stitch with. It seemed to really get wound up and you had to let the needle dangle after every stitch. I prefer just using one strand of a like-colored DMC thread. You really don't see it on the finished project.
