I love this pattern and I’m looking forward to the finished project. However, I am an “old fashioned “ cross stitcher. I don’t use any apps, no “parking,†etc. I start at the center and work out from there. That being said, I was disappointed to find that the pattern is four pages, but printed on two, front to back. Luckily, I have a very nice printer that copies as well, so I was able to print it out without any additional cost to me. And, given the price of the pattern, it would’ve been nice to have it printed in color. Only the back stitching is in color. Overall, it’s a very lovely piece and I’m curious to know if this will be a “series…Birds in Nature†with additional patterns forthcoming?!

I love the finished design. But the pattern itself is difficult to read. The bird is split between four pages. I’ve been stitching a long time and have never been so frustrated with a designer’s pattern. I will work to finish this project, but will think twice before buying from this designer in the future.
