Note from the designer: "A sweet trio of smalls based on a teeny vintage sewing kit in my collection - there is a soft tray, a berry, and a needle book. The berry and needle book were a club project from 2020; this chartpak adds a third piece to that original pair."
The inspiration for these four little biscornus was a piece of cotton fabric that was being used to make a project bag. I loved the geometric design and bold color scheme and knew I needed to create a cross stitch pattern from it.
Model stitched on 32 ct Christmas Red Belfast linen and Black Belfast linen using DMC threads. Stitch count: each biscornu is 39 x 39.
This design is a modern design in the style of Traditional Samplers. It celebrates Spring because that is where Australia is headed next! There are deer, birds, bunnies, butterflies, a dog and cat enjoying the new fruits and flowers of the season.
The smalls are stitched on 32 count Bush Scrub linen fabric by Paddock Lane Designs. Stitch counts 50x50, 59x39 and 60x70
Pattern by Antique Needleworkers featuring cute small floral designs.
Stitched on 36 count linen with Classic Colorworks, and Weeks Dye Works floss. The Needlebook has a stitch count of 79 x 40 with a finished size of 4.39" x 2.22". The Scissor Fob has a stitch count of 27 x 19 with a finished size of 1.5" x 1.06".
