Please Note: Many fabrics are dyed in batches and made from natural fibers. As a result, color variation can occur between dye lots, counts, and fabric types, even under the same color name. Fabric dyers consider this normal and expected, particularly in vintage or antiqued fabrics, so feel free to contact us if selecting an exact shade is critical to your project.

That's why I like this particular fabric - does have a mellow shading that allows itself to be used for practically any type of pattern that calls for a more laid-back background. The fabric is soft. This is my 2nd purchase of this fabric so I have it for my cross stitch stash.
