Note from the designer: Sometimes you want a classic feel and sometimes the occasion calls for something softer and more subtle. Choose stronger, brighter red, white and blue fabrics for a traditional summertime flag quilt. Or go for softer light blues, add in some floral and pinks for a faded shabby chic feeling quilt that will give you all the soft and romantic flag feels.
