This is a wonderful way to use up any "orphan blocks" in a fun & satisfying way. It is also a great charm pack project for a fun and quick make. These "tuffet flats" has become my favorite kind of pincushion both for its ease of construction as well as its charming shape appeal.

Size 5.75" x 5.75" or 7.25" x 7.25" or 8.75" x 8.75"

Blocks: Charm Pack Portofino (or other favorite fabric)
Blocks: 1/8 yd. Ivory Solid or Ivory Eyelet or Ivory Print Scraps
Backing: 3/8 yd. or fat quarter for backing
Binding : 1/8 yd. or fat quarter for binding
Plus: 3/8 yd. PELLON 987F, Crushed Walnut Hulls & Polyfill or Cotton Stuffing, Button & Floss or quilting threads for center
