Vertical strippy quilt design features 4 pieced and appliqued rows, containing 8 blocks each, for a total of 32 different, unique quilt block patterns. The rows of quilt blocks have a small narrow frame of off white fabric on each side and rows of a red floral fabric in between. The blocks include a schoolhouse, a fleur-de-lis, an appliqued wreath, pinwheels, star blocks, and more.
While this quilt was made with red, cream and gray fabrics, it would be gorgeous sewn in most any quilt palette with the fabrics of your choosing. Techniques: Applique and Pieced patchwork. French General Project Size: 61" x 78"
