The entire line of Gloriana Silk Flosses are excellent. I use the 12 stranded silk for counted cross stitch one ply on 36 or 40 count linen and it provides excellent coverage. I've even used one ply on 32 count linen which gives a delicate look. The 12 ply really lasts a while, too, so I think you're getting a good deal when compared to most other 6 or 7 ply silks.
