Also known as a blending filament, this fine, sparkly metallic thread is available in a wide variety of colors. When used in the same needle with silk or cotton it bonds to whatever else you put it with.

Is not slippery to use in hand embroidery. Several plies can be put together in the same needle to achieve desired coverage on fabric or canvas. 50 meter spools.

Use Filament by itself or combined with other threads and yarns for a random highlighting effect.
Extremely popular for cross stitch, but also used for highlights in needlepoint.

Four plies work well on 18 count canvas, two plies cover 18 count fabric for cross stitch. Also use two plies for cross stitch over two threads on 28 count fabric.
