The small, plump, ground-dwelling quail is often identified by its distinctive head plume. They prefer running to flying. Due to their tendency to mate for life, they symbolize loyalty and devotion. The 2026 Quail Sampler joins my growing collection of monochromatic bird samplers.

Stitched on 36 ct. Sepia by Cedar River Linens with Classic Colorworks floss. The stitch count is 92 x 55 and the finished size is 5.11" x 3.06".
