Cross Stitch PatternsDonna Sue Groves, of Adams County, Ohio, is credited with the popularity of the modern barn quilt movement. The originator of the first documented barn quilt trail, Donna Sue painted a quilt to honor her mother and her mother's love of quilting. The quilt and the barn featured on Quilted Frill are a replica and tribute to Donna. Though she died in 2021, Donna's idea sparked tens of thousands of quilt squares on barns throughout North America for all to enjoy.
The model was stitched over 2 threads on 32 Ct. linen with Classic Colorworks and Weeks Dye Works floss. Stitch count is 40 x 30. Finished size is 2.5" x 1.88".
What is a Frill? A small design that complements a Tiny Town. If you want to extend the length of your Tiny Town, you can insert the Frill design in your Tiny Town stitching. But each Frill is designed as a stand-alone piece that can be completed on its own.
