This piece turned out just as beautifully as I'd envisioned it in my head, late one night trying to fall asleep, which (trust me) doesn't always happen! This is such a bold statement piece due to both the heavy Quaker style alphabet and the eye catching dimensional motif which is stitched on a contrasting colored fabric and affixed on top of the alphabet after stitching. I used vintage straight pins to simply mount the motif to the backing but there are many options (bows, buttons, glue).
Included in the chart pack you will have two different medallion options to choose from.
The pattern is stitched on 36 count Cream and Sugar linen (background) and Affogato linen (medallion) by Fiber on a Whim. Stitch count is 202 wide x 192 high. Finished size is 11.22 in wide X 10.67 in high.
