This modern take on the traditional German-style Vierlanden sampler replaces clouds for crowns on the alphabet section and adds a tiny landscape. Bright colors throughout the original motifs make for a cheery and fresh unusual piece.

The model was stitched with Classic Colorworks Belle Soie Silks on 36 count Grace Notes Almond Milk hand-dyed linen, 1 ply over 2. Silks needed: 3 skeins of Old Crow; one each of Eiffel Tower, Noir, Mudpie, Poison Apple, Autumn Breeze, Collard Greens, Hula Skirt, and Peacock. A DMC conversion is included. Stitch count is 239 x 326.
