This was originally released at Shepherd's Bush in 2022, and now it's available openly! I had enormous fun designing this Rhode Island-style sampler inspired by the Mayflower and the year the Pilgrims landed in America. The sampler features Pilgrims as well as Wampanoag (I even researched their traditional dress back then, including how their feathers were worn in their hair), as well as floral motifs derived from the oldest known sampler in America, the Loara Standish sampler (her parents were both on board the Mayflower). The chart pack includes some historical notes about the New World, which I hope lend a sense of life to the sampler, if you choose to stitch it.
The model was stitched over 2 threads on 36 ct. Hogbristle from Fox and Rabbit with DMC, Weeks Dye Works and Classic Colorworks floss. Stitch Count: 169w x 185h.

from United States on 12/28/2024 - New World Sampler A Plum Street classic, love it!
from United States on 01/10/2024 This is a very nice chart for Thanksgiving from Plum Street Sampler. I always enjoy the historical charts. However, this chart does have some specialty stitches. Not as many as the Equity sampler but some. If that is not something a stitcher is interested in doing, then it would not be a chart for that type of stitcher. Just saying as a heads up before purchasing.
