Trilliums are a unique flower found in the area I live, the PNW. I was inspired to create a forest floor scene with trilliums as the centerpiece. I added some beetles which are loosely based on beetles native to the PNW. This pattern was so much fun to stitch with its bright colors and variety of motifs.

Stitched on 40 count Fiber on a Whim "old gold" linen using all DMC. Stitch count is 140 x 173. Finished size is 7" x 8.65".
