This house features a snowman and falling snowflakes, Spring flowers, an American flag for the 4th of July, and Autumn leaves blowing in the breeze. Model stitched on 32 Ct. Summer Khaki linen with The Gentle Art Sampler threads and Weeks Dye Works. Stitch Count: 73W x 123H. Finished Size: 5" x 8"

Note from designer "I have known since I started this Cottage series that my Summer design, the third in the series, would be based on beach cottages. The pretty blues and turquoises make me think of the Gulf of Mexico and the bright coral colors are the perfect contrast!"

Fall Cottages brings us to the last Cottage in this series and uses the warm browns and golds of late autumn, when the bright colors are almost gone. The squirrels are racing to fill up their bellies and nests with acorns and other goodies to help them get through the winter.
