I just finished the 12-house Santa's Village cross-stitch project from Country Cottage. It took about one house per month to stitch them all on one piece of fabric. I ordered the optional buttons because I think they add another dimension to the work I put so much effort into. What would be a nice project without the buttons becomes an amazing project when they are added.

This pattern is very easy and a quick project. I'm stitching all of them and making them into a Christmas quilt. The button is a cute addition as well.
