The next in the Cats of the Month series, September and October! September features an orange striped cat ready to start school. October features a black and gray cat with some spooky friends.

Pattern is stitched on 32 ct linen using Romy's Creations threads with DMC conversion. Stitch counts are 60 x 60 and the finished sizes are 3.75" x 3.75".

The October Cat cross stitch design is part of the Cat Tales Collection by Happiness Is HeartMade. This month's design has Cat surrounded by signs of autumn pumpkins, acorns, and autumn-colored leaves. Cat is joined by a crow on a branch above.

This sampler has no name on it so I lovlingly, refer to it as the Black Cat sampler. I believe the original was crafted in England. There are two sets of initials on the sampler but I have not been able to determine if they are that of the stitchers.
