the pattern is pleasing, but the execution is less so. The number of colors is generous, but to start blending two to make another color is irritating and pointless. Also using two kinds of X to denote two colors is confusing and distracting. More care should have been taken in the execution of the pattern. Having said that, the design is a pleasure.
