A simple and timeless checkerboard design paired with simple patchwork this design was inspired by a cherished quilt found at my Grandma Normas home. Its classic alternating squares create a cozy, nostalgic feel, reminiscent of traditional quilts that have warmed generations. Whether youre a beginner or an experienced quilter, this pattern is a perfect way to celebrate heritage, simplicity, and the joy of quilting. Pattern uses a Layer cake and is a perfect pattern for beginners.

The finished quilt project size is 59 1/2" x 76 1/2".
