None of the metallic threads are easy to work with, but this is the easiest. It is consistently beautiful when finished. Used short lengths to prevent shredding.

I have heard nightmare anecdotes about using metallic floss. This Kreinik braid was not that bad to use. It was initially easy to thread on my Sullivan's Ball Tip size 26 needle. After working with a length for awhile the end would fray and if it came off the needle I would need to use a needle threader to rethread it. That being said,, I used Thread Magic to coat the braid before starting to stitch & had no problems with it fraying while stitching. I used probably an 18" doubled length. It worked very well and I was very happy with the finished project.
