"Blossom by blossom, the Spring begins." Part 3 in the 12 part My Garden Journal Series. Each of the designs are perfect to stitch alone, but can also be stitched as one large piece on 40 Ct. Lambswool linen. Stitch count as one piece would be 379W x 302H.
Cross stitch pattern from Madame La Fee that says "Jardin Secret (Secret Garden)" and features flowers, a France postmark, Teapot with teacup, lamp, heart, and books.
Pattern is stitched on 32 ct. linen with DMC floss. Stitch Count: 196 x 185. Finished size is 12.25" x 11.56".
Note from the designer: It started with the request to teach at Shepherd's Bush and the theme was garden. My brain went to our love of samplers and flowers. I envisioned alphabets dancing in the garden. There will be one for each season for a total of four different charts.

Fanciful Flowers celebrates the spring season with a vibrant color palette and one of my favorite subject matter; flowers!
The pattern is stitched on 40 count Cream and Sugar by Fiber on a Whim using Classic Colorworks threads. Stitch count is 147 wide x 133 high. Finished size is 7.35 in wide X 6.65 in high.

Break out the sunscreen and head to the garden! I brought in some flowers and garden plants, as well as a few animal companions to celebrate the joys of gardening. So far we haven't shared our lettuce with the rabbits, but I expect they'll find it one of these days.
